We’re super stoked to announce our collaboration with chef, award-winning author and food writer, Gill Meller.
Gill's cooking is a reflection of his surroundings, taking inspiration from the landscape, his locality, and the amazing farmers, growers and fisherman that produce the ingredients he uses.
Regularly teaching at Park Farm, the home of River Cottage, you can join Gill on a one day cookery course for a day of seasonal cooking exploring the ingredients from our British landscapes through the seasons.
I'm a big advocate for simple, seasonal cookery and making the most of ingredients and the natural qualities they possess.
His River Cottage handbook, 'Pigs & Pork' was published in spring 2015 and his debut independent cook book 'Gather' was published in the autumn of 2016. To celebrate our collaboration, we're going to be giving you the chance to get your hands on a signed copy of 'Gather', so keep an eye on our social channels over the next few weeks.
Gill has written for and contributed recipes to The Guardian, The Telegraph, Waitrose Food, Delicious, BBC Country file Magazine, Time Out, The Ecologist and Crumbs magazine, to name a few.
Last month we spent a day with Gill at his house in Lyme Regis, cooking up some beautiful seasonal recipes using Quicke’s cheese. We'll be sharing these throughout the year as the seasons change. Gill's first recipe, Spring, will be going live next week, so be sure to check back and see what we have in-store.
