We have been fans of Quickes cheeses for some years - ever since I first came across the products at The Bath & West Agricultural Show many years ago. Loving the Vintage Cheddar and Mature Cheddars we became adventurous and tried Double Devon (wonderful cheese) but always avoided the Goats Milk cheese as my experience of other goat milk cheeses was that ‘the goat has been left in this’. Not so with Quickes Goat’s Milk Cheese - what had we been missing. This is superb and utterly enjoyable. It is mild and clean on the palate. Most enjoyable. I am now encouraged to try another of my pet ‘avoidances’ which are smoked cheeses!
i am so pleased to have discovered this wonderful Goats cheese.
Having returned to England. having lived for the past 12 years in a Medieval mountain village in the Pyrenees which produced wonderful Goats cheeses, I found myself regretting my return until I found Quickes. Without their Goats Milk Cheese I would probably have already returned to France! I just love it!
Liked the slightly salty taste and creamy texture.
Always delicious cheese from Quicke’s!
Flavoursome, but not overpoweringly goat
