• The use of this website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Any disputes will be governed by English Law.

1. Liability

• We make this website to share our love of cheese, provide information, and tempt you to try our produce.

• Information is provided in good faith, but we cannot guarantee it is free from error, fully up to date, or suitable for every use.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quicke’s Traditional Ltd accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on website content.

• If you spot an error, please email shop@quickes.co.uk and we’ll do our best to correct it.

2. Rights & Responsibilities

• By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • All details provided are accurate, true and complete.

  • Your payment card details are valid and correct.

  • You are over 18 years of age.

• Please ensure delivery details are correct. We cannot refund goods that perish or are damaged due to inaccurate information.

• A current phone number and email address must be provided so we can contact you if needed.

3. Privacy & Cookies

• We respect and protect the privacy of all visitors to our website.

• We collect personal information when you:

  • Subscribe to our mailing list.

  • Place an order online or by phone.

• By registering your details, you agree to our Terms & Conditions.

• We never share your data with third parties.

• You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by contacting shop@quickes.co.uk.

• We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Full details are in our [Privacy Policy].

• Our website uses cookies (not the edible kind!) to keep things working smoothly and to understand browsing and shopping habits. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the website may not function correctly.

4. Payment

• Full payment is required before we send your order.

• We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and other methods listed at checkout.

5. Shipping, Refunds & Cancellations

• Our products are perishable, so orders cannot be cancelled once despatched

•  We do not accept returns

• No need to sign for parcels

• If you may be out, please provide safe delivery instructions (e.g. neighbour, porch, shed).

• We are not responsible for delays outside our control (e.g. courier delays, extreme weather).

• Mainland UK orders:

  • Despatched Monday–Thursday on a next-day delivery service. 

  • Charges are based on weight and courier costs (shown at checkout)
    

• Scottish Highlands:

  • Additional charges may apply at checkout and the parcel may take two-four days to arrive. 

• Refunds:

  • If an order arrives faulty, damaged, or falls short of expectations, please contact us.

  • Refunds cannot be given if products are not stored correctly after delivery.

6. Hampers

• Hampers contain only the listed items 

• Some hampers may include goods from other trusted suppliers. If you are unhappy with these items, let us know so we can resolve it.

• On rare occasions, items may be substituted with products of equal or higher value.

7. Cheese Celebration Cakes

• We ideally ask for two weeks notice for Celebration Cheese Cakes
  

• We send out all Celebration Cheese Cakes on a before midday delivery.

• Celebration Cheese Cake order cancellations can only be made up until 7 days before the date it was due to be dispatched.

• Please note: our newsletter sign-up offer excludes Celebration Cheese Cakes.

8. Product Appearance & Description

• We aim to display our products as accurately as possible, including colours, dimensions, specifications and packaging.

• As our cheese is handmade:

  • Product weights are approximate.

  • Specifications and packaging may vary without notice, but quality will not be affected.

• We carefully hand-pack all orders to ensure they arrive in the best condition.

9. Copyright

• All copyright, database rights, trademarks and intellectual property in this website (including text, images, graphics, and code) belong to Quicke’s Traditional Ltd.

• You may download or print extracts for personal, non-commercial use.

• Reproduction, duplication or display of website content without our prior written consent is prohibited.

10. Gift Vouchers

• Online vouchers can be redeemed only at www.quickes.co.uk
  

• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

• If the order total is less than the voucher value, the balance remains as credit for future use.

• Online vouchers are valid until the expiry date shown (usually 12 months from issue).

• Quicke’s is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.

11. Promotional Discounts

• Coupons, discounts and promotional codes are valid only on www.quickes.co.uk (unless stated otherwise).

• They are not valid in the Cheese Shop.

• Promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders.

• Only one promotional code may be used per order unless stated.
