There's nothing we love more than summer feasts in the sunshine with a good chilled bottle of white and close friends. With the longest day of the year just around the corner, now is the time to stock up for your summer alfresco dining endeavours. To celebrate this glorious time of year, we are holding a Summer Cheese Tasting here at the Farm Shop in Newton St. Cyres on Saturday 15th June from 10:30am.
Hosted by our long-standing ambassador, Stuart Dowle, the Summer Cheese Tasting will offer wedge worshippers a chance to sample cheeses including the summer hedgerow highlight, Quicke’s Elderflower Clothbound Cheese, and provide inspiration for a barbeque spread that will champion local producers.
Bursting with artisan food, the Quicke's Farm Shop has everything required for summer dining, including various tasty salad leaves featuring edible flowers grown in Mary Quicke’s own back garden – ideal to accompany one of Home Farm’s tender steaks or a platter of sizzling Kenniford Farm sausages. Stock up on local ales, ciders and wines, and tubs of luxurious Farmer Tom’s ice cream to round off the meal, while also collecting a 10% off voucher to spend on your next visit.
The Quicke’s Farm Shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
