Win Quicke's Cheese and Tracklements Fruit Cheese

Fruit cheese is made from stiff fruit puree and is a great way of preserving a delicious fruit and concentrating the flavour and helping to preserve it into the winter months. Tracklements do this incredibly with their three flavour combinations and lucky for us they pair perfectly with many of our clothbound cheeses.

QUINCE FRUIT CHEESE AND QUICKE’S CLOTHBOUND EWE’S CHEESE

Tracklements source their quince from the quince trees nestled amongst apple orchards, on a farm in Somerset. This Quince Fruit cheese is incredibly jammy and rich with a sharp tang, it’s a must for any cheeseboard. It is incredibly versatile, paired with our Ewe’s milk Clothbound cheese. The sharp jammy tang of the quince helps cut through the milky olive oil notes of the ewe’s milk leaving a delicious tang in the mouth.

GOOSEBERRY FRUIT CHEESE AND QUICKE’S MATURE CLOTHBOUND CHEDDAR

Grown in the slightly acidic soil in the Wye Valley, which when combined with the British weather conditions, ensures they’re the freshest and tastiest in the world. This Gooseberry Fruit Cheese is deeply fruity, sharp and light, again another must for a cheeseboard. It is incredibly versatile, paired with our Mature, Extra Mature and Elderflower cheese and great to add a splash of colour to a cheeseboard any season. The combination of flavours with the Quicke’s mature clothbound cheddar and the gooseberry helps to bring out the savoury brothy notes of the mature with a fruity hit and then a subtle gooseberry finish. It’s almost a fresh feeling like you have drunk sparkling water with gooseberry. Very enjoyable. With Quicke’s extra mature clothbound cheddar, the fruit for cheese helps to intensify the caramel notes of the cheddar. Paired with Quicke’s elderflower cheese, this creates more of stronger floral, citric notes, you get a fruity hit and then a floral, sweet but creamy finish.

DAMSON FRUIT CHEESE AND QUICKE’S CLOTHBOUND GOAT’S CHEESE

Grown in orchards in the Vale of Evesham, Tracklements damsons have a vibrant dark blue skin and strong, sour flavour meaning they’re perfect for a rich fruit cheese. This Damson Fruit Cheese is deeply fruity and rich and we think it just screams festivity with its lovely deep crimson colour. Again a very versatile fruit for cheese complimenting the Quicke’s mature and Quicke’s extra mature well. But the perfecting paring is Quicke’s clothbound goat's cheese the contrast of the milky opaque white and the deep red colour is lovely and festive, not to mention the combination of flavour. The milky nuttiness from the goat’s cheese is compliments but the rich sweet and not too sharp Damson, the perfect savoury sweet combination!

Alternatively, with any of the fruit for cheeses, you can add a dollop to your granola and yogurt or spread it on a warm scone with Quicke's Whey Butter. Or even have it with a cut of festive ham or turkey. The perfect condiment to gift with all its uses and is a great stocking filler.
