A whole cheese is also a memorable way to experience our traditional clothbound cheddar, making a real statement when served at the table.

Storage
Store your whole cheese in a cool, damp environment, such as a cellar, pantry, garage or shed. We store our cheeses on wooden shelves to prevent them coming into contact with anything that could draw moisture from the cheese or cause taint.
With the cloth intact, a whole cheese can technically continue to mature indefinitely. However, we recommend ageing for no more than one additional month after purchase, as we cannot guarantee that suitable storage conditions will be maintained outside our stores at Home Farm.
Once the cloth has been removed and the cheese cut, store it in the same way as our wedges.
Delivery & Returns
Since most of our products are perishable, all parcels must be signed for. If you think you might be out when the postman calls, please include full delivery instructions such as ‘leave in the shed/ porch/ with a neighbour’. We're very proud of our handmade artisan cheeses. In the unlikely event of an order falling short of your expectations in any way, please get in touch to discuss a refund.
