A Cheesemonger's History of the British Isles by Ned Palmer 

Ned Palmer runs the Cheese Tasting Company, whose unique events pair cheese with wines, beers, whiskies and history. After studying philosophy, theatre and experimental psychology, he worked as a jazz pianist and hospital porter, before helping out on a stall at Borough Market led him into a life of cheesemongering.

This book follows the history of cheese from its neolithic beginnings right up to the modern day.

This Land by Quicke's

Our brand new journal entitled This Land, is a tribute to our ancient rural landscape and traditions, from the people to the pastures.

Taking a winding ramble through the seasons, the journal considers the ever-shifting charms and challenges brought about by spring, summer, autumn and winter, taking many a detour along the way to look at themes such as foraging, cheese pairing and science in the dairy.
