Mrs Gill's Fruit Cake
Description
Mrs Gill's fruit cake is handmade just 16 miles away from our farm. Following a 200-year-old recipe, Lisa uses local eggs and butter along with handfuls of plump vine fruits to create a wonderfully rich and moist fruit cake.
This fruit cake is delicious enjoyed on its own, slathered with whey butter or accompanied by a wedge of Mature or Extra Mature Cheddar.

Ingredients: raisins, sultans, WHEAT FLOUR, Currants, EGGS, salted butter, (MILK), Sugar, candied orange and lemon peel, black glace cherries (SULPHUR DIOXIDE Colour E63) Black Treacle, Brandy, Mixed Spice ( coriander, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, fennel, cardamon)

Storage: Store in a cool dark place. once opened in an airtight container.
