Baked pear bites with goat's cheese, honey & walnuts

This delicious canape makes use of the holy trio: pear, goat's cheese and honey. The sweet pear and honey against the fresh and citrus goat's cheese finished off with the crunchy nutty walnuts. A match made in heaven.

INGREDIENTS  

 METHOD

  1. Heat the oven to 180c
  2. Cut the pears lengthways as a cross-section, creating 1cm thick slices of pear
  3. Place on a buttered ovenproof dish and roast for 8 minutes
  4. Once the pears are starting to soften, sprinkle the grated goat's cheese on top and finish under the grill until they start to golden
  5. To serve, drizzle with honey and scatter with crush walnuts
