Lady Prue Clothbound Cheese
Named after Mary Quicke’s mother, who built the original cheese dairy at Home Farm during the 1970s, Lady Prue combines goat’s and cow’s milk to create a pale and delicate clothbound cheese. It is one of only a handful of mixed milk cheeses being made in the UK.
This unique cheese is handcrafted by our expert cheesemakers using a mix of our own grass-fed cow’s milk and locally-sourced goat’s milk, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 6 months.
A youthful, delicate cheese with a creamy texture, subtle taste of goat and grassy, caramelly hints.
“HARKING BACK TO THE VERY FIRST TRUCKLES MADE AT HOME FARM, THIS CHEESE ENCAPSULATES SO MUCH ABOUT OUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE."
