Hanlon's Port Stout is brewed less than a mile away from Home Farm, here in Devon. It is made using traditional floor malted barley and English grown phoenix hops combined with their own bore hole water.
Port Stout is a dark, chestnut beer whose bitter chocolate and roast malt taste from the large dose of roast barley added is softened by the addition of rich Ruby Port, combining the hoppy pepperiness from Phoenix and Bobek with vinous alcoholic fruitiness.
Pairs perfectly with blue cheese and is a great winter night warmer.
