Hillside Fruit for Cheese: Plum and Port
Hillside is a family run company based in the picturesque village of Kenn, just outside Exeter. Jay Allan, a former Head Chef at a luxury hotel on Dartmoor started the business back in 2008 making the membrillo fruit pastes. The range has developed over time and now includes some delicious pickles and chutneys, the perfect addition to any cheeseboard.
A concentrated fruit puree made with plums, sugar and port is reduced until thick, glossy and rich. Slice and serve on your cheeseboard.
Pairs perfectly with Quicke's Goat's Cheese.
