Crock and Cole Curtido with Jalapeño
Crock & Cole launched in 2019, with a vision to produce a range of wild fermented products for our local community. They use traditional ceramic fermenting vessels and embrace the diversity, seasonality and lack of homogeneity of their product's. Made in Totnes in Devon with organic vegetables – some certified, some not – some homegrown, the rest as local as can be – all grown ecologically and chemical-free.
Curtido is a cousin of Kimchi and Sauerkraut – a fermented vegetable dish from Central America. based on the El Salvadoran classic dish, with a gentle jalapeño zing. A raw, live, probiotic wholefood.
Ingredients: white cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, pimenton, jalapenos, unrefined sea salt.
Keep refrigerated, consume within 2 weeks of opening.
