Welcome to Home Farm
The only way to fully appreciate the fascinating, sensory art of real cheesemaking - and the unique beauty of Quicke's Devonshire estate - is by dropping in for a visit. We'd love to welcome you to Home Farm soon, to see the ancient pastures where our cows graze, to witness first-hand the cheddaring process and the work of our expert cheesemakers and to take in the quiet majesty of our maturing rooms.
We're happy to show you around Home Farm on Monday to Friday mornings all through the year. (Please note these must be booked in advance) From the buzz and blossom of high summer to the frosty quiet of mid-winter, these tours can feel quite different as the seasons shift.
As well as a leisurely two-hour tour, your visit will include a chance to taste some of our magnificent cheeses and enjoy a free drink in Quicke's Farm Kitchen – an atmospheric safari tent dining room where we're also happy to provide lunch, if booked in advance. Just give us a call and we'll talk you through the options.

Quicke's Cheese Tours Health & Safety Information
We hope you enjoy your cheese tour at Quicke's, so we'd like to let you know about a few things in advance. As you'll be visiting a food production area, we ask you to remove any hats and jewellery (excluding wedding bands) before you enter the dairy. It'll save time for everyone if you can do this before we get started. We'll provide you with hygienic shoe-covers, coats and hairnets, which must be worn at all times in the cheese dairy. Please don't bring any chewing gum, food or drink into the dairy either – there will be plenty of opportunities for eating afterwards!
Home Farm is a working farm, so please be careful as you walk around, and stay with the group. There's no dress code, but farm-ready footwear and clothing will make your visit more comfortable.
